Jessica Alba's baby name praised by experts

Jessica Alba has named her newborn baby girl 'Honor', and the name has been praised by an expert.

The star's brother, Josh Alba, revealed the baby's new name to E! News, and confirmed that Jessica gave birth naturally.

He said his new niece - who was born on Saturday - is "gorgeous", and the family couldn’t be happier with her arrival.

"She is gorgeous," he said. "She looks just like my sister. Jessica did everything natural... It went really well. We are all just ecstatic. She definitely looks like an Alba to me."

Jessica's father Mark - who flew to California from Florida so he wouldn’t miss the birth - also gushed about his new granddaughter and says Honor is the spitting image of her famous mother.

He said: "She's got Jessica's complexion, her hair, her eyes. She looks like Jessica when she was a baby. I thought Jessica was the prettiest baby I had ever seen, but I was wrong.

"The fact that this little girl came out of my daughter's stomach, it blows my mind."

Jessica and husband Cash Warren’s choice of name for their daughter has been praised by a baby naming expert.

Pamela Redmond Satran, co-author of baby-naming guides Cool Names and The Baby Name Bible, said: "Honor is one of the Puritan Virtue names that has been making a comeback along with sisters Hope, Faith and Charity.

"My guess is that Jessica Alba, going through life as one of several trendily-named 'Jessicas' in any room, was looking for a name that was both classic and unusual, and she made an excellent choice."

Brody Jenner Has a Bromance

Are you ready for a Bromance with Brody Jenner?

The Hills star will headline his own series on MTV, the network announced.

Bromance, a brainchild of Ryan Seacrest's production company, will pit bro against bro for a spot in the 24-year-old's entourage.

"Bromance takes a successful TV format and turns it on its head," MTV Senior VP Series Development Liz Gateley said in a statement. "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept; he is the type of guy everyone wants to hang out with."

"Regular guys" will compete in a series of challenges, such as dealing with the paparazzi to "group dates" and "alone time" with Brody, in the six-episode series. At the end of each episode, Brody will dismiss a bro in the "Hot Tub Elimination Ceremony," in which the rejected bro will leave the bachelor pad dripping wet in swimming trunks.

Let the competition begin!

third in the World according to Billboard and Venues Today magazines, will
welcome some of the most sought after musicians currently touring

"This summer's entertainment line-up in Atlantic City is like nothing
we or the East Coast has ever seen before," said Jeffrey Vasser, executive
director of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. "To have
more than 60 major concerts in a four month period, in addition to the
boxing, revues and other events, is a testament to how much Atlantic City
has grown as a destination -- we are the hot ticket."

Only five months into the calendar year, Boardwalk Hall has already
seen some of the biggest names in music: Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, Keith
Urban, Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige. And, this summer is
stacking up to leave visitors seeing stars: Van Halen, Andre Rieu and
Johann Strauss, Lil' Wayne and Birdman, Elton John, American Idols Live!
The Tour 2008, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band and Celine Dion,
just to name a few.

Atlantic City is the only destination on the East Coast and one of few
in the country that will see this volume of entertainment during the
summer. In addition to Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City has 11 other concert
venues that also have an impressive and packed schedule of entertainment.
From newcomers like Paramore and Plain White T's to established legends
such as Boston, Chicago and Ringo Starr to the most popular headliners like
Eric Clapton and Alicia Keys, Atlantic City is turned on to the biggest
names, brightest stars and hottest shows.

"Over the next few months we have booked an incredible mix of
entertainment," said Greg Tesone, General Manager of Boardwalk Hall. "From
a middleweight boxing championship to American Idols Live to classic rock
and roll acts Elton John and Jimmy Buffett, this summer we have something
for everyone."
